When we had to opportunity to build the MARS animal hospital, of course we HAD to do it, it was a dream come true.
Working with MARS Wildlife Rescue Centre was so much fun. I was a little distracted by the baby deer and finally got my chance to feed them!
Once we finished the animal hospital, it filled up faster than any of us could have imagined. MARS rescues and rehabs all types of critters. Deer, birds, squirrels, raccoons, owls, otters....and the list goes on.
This project tugged on our heart strings and we felt like more had to be done.
We donated $20,000. to the wildlife and not to long after started on the next phase, The Visitors Centre.
